Our company vows to revitalize all the dying farms by assisting farmers in their decision-making and helping to connect them to the rest of the world.

Our Staff and workers (Who)

Funder: The funder and manager of this company, Mr. VALCIN Rival, is currently residing in Japan. Mr. VALCIN is a specialist of Agricultural Economics and Rural Development (AERD) graduated from the Faculty of Agronomy and Veterinary Medicine (FAMV) of the State University of Haiti (UEH), Mr. Rival VALCIN holds a PhD in the field of agricultural sciences with a focus on agribusiness management from the Tokyo University of Agriculture in Japan, he is currently affiliated as a visiting scholar. The development of new agricultural insurance products adapted to Haitian reality is at the forefront of the technical package of its experimental model. He also collaborates with Quisqueya University (Haiti) as a researcher in Economics and Experimental Innovation. His studies and publications are oriented toward agricultural contracts, the development of new products, the development of a new agricultural insurance model, the adoption of risk management technologies, and agrarian entrepreneurship. Currently, Dr. Valcin is also collaborating as a Manager at the Research Center of the Institute of Environmental Rehabilitation and Cons (ERECON JAPAN).

 

Co-author of the work entitled “Agricultural and Agrifood Innovation in Haiti,” published in the “Les Antilles” editions. He has also been able to put his expertise at the service of key institutions in Haiti, notably the Bank of the Republic of Haiti (BRH), via the Inter-consultants' group to develop a National Agricultural Finance Framework in Haiti (CNFA).

 

Through his experiences within the Organization for the Rehabilitation of the Environment (ORE), he collaborated in the execution of development projects such as the SECAL (food security in Haiti), financed by the European Union, and a UN Environment project in Southern Haiti.
